Few lines about me:
Who is Aviran Mordo: Well I’m originally from Israel (as you probably could guess). As of the year 2000 I moved to the United States to work here as a Software Engineer.
I have a BA in Computer Science and I’m a Software Engineer for more than 10 years.
I have been working as a software engineer initially developing DOS and later Windows applications such as fleet management software, GIS (mapping software).
In 2000 I joined a start-up company that developed context engine.
In 2002 I started to work as a Sr Systems analyst to build the US government projects Grants.gov
With the experience I had using the open source search engine Lucene I developed the core functionality of Indeed.com search engine technology.
Currently I’m working as a business development and software consultant / team lead on a small consulting company helping Lockheed Martin develop the US Electronic Records Archives (ERA) for NARA (National Archives and Records Administration).
