Clinton And Lieberman To Legislate Video Game Violence
Senator Hillary Clinton, who called for a federal investigation into the so-called “hot coffee” scandal, and Senator Joseph Lieberman, a longtime proponent of entertainment regulation, have promised to introduce legislation to restrict the sale of video games to minors when the Congress reconvenes in two weeks.
The proposed legislation is known as the Family Entertainment Protection Act and a summary of its contents can be perused here. It cites as its inspiration the Media-wise Report Card put together by The National Institute on Media and the Family.
