Microsoft Copies Google’s Ad Layout ?

Filed under: Aviran Mordo @ 10:01 am

I recently surfed to one of the many Microsoft’s web sites and stumbled upon an ad for IE7. The ad layout and color seemed very familiar to me, and I was trying to remember where did I see this ad before ? Then it occurred to me, this ad is suspiciouly similar to Google’s own ad for Firefox.

Google Firefox Ad   Microsoft IE7 Ad

Did Microsoft copied Google’s ad layout, you decide.

I must say this is not a copy at all first. Microsoft is known for its blue gradient color which it uses in almost all products and even take a look at thier home page. And the ad layout is not something new, its been in WWW for ages.

So there is no meaning for copy here.

I Don care who copies what, i can see google has no innovation for long they jus create what is already existing for example gtalk, orkut(they bought it though)…
