I tried to update my new computer and i got this eror the first time,

Try one of the following:

Go to the Windows Firewall settings, and check off Internet Explorer as an "Exception".


If you have any of the following Try to uninstall

Norton Anti Virus (which included Internet Security)
MS Money.
Zone Alarm

are you running windows xp or windows server 2003??? the research I did with that trouble code falls down to windows server 2003

You can also try this :

1°/ Temporarily disable your antivirus.

2°/ Go to Start Menu => Run => Type [b]regsvr32 MSXML3.DLL[/b] => OK.

3°/ Reboot.

4°/ Retry to update on Windows Update / Microsoft Update.
