This article I found a link to on a friend’s blog describes all the important stages in email communication security. I thought it was quite clear. Quite a few of their security recommendation were a new to me, as most of what I knew about mail security was related to AV and AS software.

Thanks for this useful information sharing..While reading this I was wondering why anyone would use such an overly complicated setup (which has no clear security benefits BTW), until I realized that this "How-to" is just an advertisement for a particular piece of mail server software that just so happens to work this way.
