Dell recommends 2 GB of memory for Vista

After Samsung, Dell is the second major company that tells its customers that Vista may need more system memory than what Microsoft is listing in its system requirements. According to a report in the Seattle Post Intelligencer (SPI), chief executive officer Kevin Rollins promoted an upgrade to 2 GB.

    wow that is a whole lot of memory, Cause I had 1gb memory in my laptop trying out RC2 and boy it still lagged like crazy. I think I will stick to windows xp pro for about a year after this release until it fixes some major issues it still has cause it still makes my wireless card got crazy and boots me off the net every minute….

    As with any Microsoft OS it is better not to install the new OS until at least SP1
